Beryl is a mineral composed of beryllium aluminium cyclosilicate with the chemical formula Be3Al2(SiO3)6.The name“beryl”is derived from Greek which referred to a“precious blue-green color-of-sea-water stone”.The term was later adopted for the mineral beryl more exclusively.Beryl is found in Europe in Austria,Germany, and Ireland,as well as Madagasca in Africa, and North-West China.
Aquamarine is a blue or cyan variety of beryl.Emerald is green beryl, colored by trace amounts of chromium and sometimes vanadium.Golden beryl can range in colors from pale yellow to a brilliant gold.Morganite, also known as“pink beryl”,“rose beryl”,“pink emerald”,and“cesian(or caesian) beryl”,is a rare light pink to rose-colored gem-quality variety of beryl.
Heliodor is a member of the Beryl family, usually showing yellow-green,golden-yellow,or light lemon yellow colour.Compared with Emerald and Aquamarine,Heliodor is known by few people due to its low production. It’s quite unique for it’s special color.
This Ukraine produced Heliodor features highly transparent crystal and complete form. Its etched sides on the surface are quite unique, and the gorgeous yellowgreen coloration makes it more beautiful and charming.
